The War Resisters Support Campaign is asking Canadians to participate in a week of action from March 15-22 to stop the deportation of Kimberly Rivera and her family.

In Winnipeg, two events are planned with war resister Joshua Key, author of A Deserter’s Tale: The Story of an Ordinary Soldier who Walked Away from the War in Iraq.

Joshua will be appearing on at least two radio programs this week:
- Wednesday, March 18, 6:45 a.m.: Joshua will be interviewed by Terry Mcleod and Marci Marcuza on CBC’s Information Radio (FM 89.3 and AM 990)
- Thursday, March 19, between 9am and 11a.m.: Richard Cloutier will interview Joshua for CJOB’s RCR (AM 680).
