The 7th Generation Walk for Mother Earth was born 6 years ago as the vision of Aboriginal women from Grassy Narrows and from around Manitoba struggling to create a healthy future for their children against the environmental racism that was destroying their traditional territories.
Their vision was to bring many people together of all backgrounds to stand up and to hear each other’s voices of concern for the destruction of Earth’s living systems by industrial society, and to bring people together to envision and share alternative ways forward.
Come stand and walk in unity and celebrate our shared existence on Earth this Sunday!
