For those concerned about social inequality, injustice and the struggles in opposition, the 6th Annual Global Justice Film Festival is the place to be on November 7/8th.

The GJFF has a dynamic line up of films that deal with struggles for justice in countries as diverse as India, Mexico, Uganda and Canada. Topics of interest in the films range from land ownership to garbage, from copper to drug control and from whales to war.

The Festival will open Friday evening with the film, The Cats of Mirikitani, an intimate portrait of how people deal with the lingering wounds of war and the healing power of art. The evening will include drumming entertainment and discussion.
