If you believe that our social programs and public services should be strengthened, not privatized; that our foreign and trade policies should be independent, not subservient to the United States and the interest of big business; and that our water and natural resources should be protected for public use, not exploited for private profits – then the Council of Canadians wants to meet you!
Join the Council of Canadians prairie regional organizer Sheila Muxlow to learn more about Canadians largest citizen’s organization and how you can be involved as a defender of human rights and democracy.
The meeting will be an informal gathering to discuss the present public concerns within Winnipeg, with the intention of reviving a Winnipeg chapter of the council of Canadians to take action in the city on important issues; and add to the growing movement of people across the country who believe a better Canada is possible!
