About 25 people participated in a demonstration in Winnipeg yesterday at 5:00 p.m. in support of the people of Gaza.
This was the fifth such rally to be held in Winnipeg this month. The rally was held at rush hour at the corner of Portage and Water which is the site of federal government offices in Winnipeg.
During that hour thousands of cars saw the demonstrators and their placards that condemned more than 4 weeks of brutal warfare against the civilian population of Gaza.
The Winnipeg media was in attendance and interviewed Ethan Osland — who acted as spokesperson on behalf the organizations that organized the action — Peace Alliance Winnipeg, Canada Palestine Support Network and Canadian Muslims for Palestine.
