About 400 Winnipeggers marched from the Manitoba Legislature to the Toronto Dominion building (Portage and Notre Dame) Saturday to add their voices to the international outcry against corporate greed.
Peace Alliance Winnipeg was a part of this, as were many peace organizations in other Canadian centres. Since the weekend a number of marchers have been camped out at Memorial Park. They welcome visitors and questions. They’ve been holding two consensus-building meetings, known as general assemblies, every day at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Anyone can attend.
