Location: begins at River Avenue & Osborne Street and ends with a march to Joyce Bateman’s constituency office at 611 Corydon Avenue
Across Canada in every city, Canadians are joining in a protest on Sunday, March 11 to demand a public inquiry into the Robocall scandal and to demand by-elections in all affected ridings.
31,000 concerns about election violations during the May 2011 federal election have been reported to Elections Canada including in Elmwood-Transcona and Winnipeg South Centre. This affront to democracy must be addressed. By-elections are needed so that Canadians can feel secure that their votes count. Join us!
We are assembling 1:30 pm Sunday at River and Osborne, peacefully marching to Joyce Bateman’s constituency office at 611 Corydon.
